Salt Therapy FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Salt Therapy?

Salt Therapy (Halotherapy) is a natural, non-invasive treatment where dry salt particles are inhaled. It helps relieve respiratory conditions, support skin health, and improve overall wellbeing and immunity.

How Does Salt Therapy Work?

Microscopic salt particles are inhaled into the lungs and upper airways. These particles help break down mucus, reduce bacteria, and support natural respiratory cleansing. The salt room also increases negative ion concentration, creating a cleaner and more relaxing environment.

What Are the Main Benefits?

Salt therapy may help reduce coughing, sneezing, sinus congestion, and shortness of breath. It also promotes relaxation and supports immune system strength.

Is Salt Therapy Safe?

Yes. Salt Therapy is natural, drug-free, and non-invasive. It can be used alone or alongside conventional treatments (with medical guidance).

Is It Safe for Children?

Salt therapy is gentle and widely used for children. Parents are advised to consult their pediatrician before starting sessions, especially for infants.

Can I Use My Phone in the Salt Room?

We do not recommend using electronic devices inside the salt room, as salt particles may damage devices and disrupt the relaxing atmosphere.

Do I Need Special Clothing?

No special clothing is required. Foot and hair covers are provided. Please avoid wearing strong perfumes or lotions during your visit.

How Sterile Are the Salt Rooms?

The salt rooms maintain a hypoallergenic microclimate. After each session, ventilation refreshes the air, and UVC lighting is used for additional sterilization.
